Our clients are seeking a goal-oriented Sr. Accountants to assist with their year-end consulting projects. The ideal candidate will have experience in close-outs, reconciliations, and GL management.
The Sr. Accountant will have experience in the following:
- Conduct year-end clean up accounting projects such as resolving bank reconciliation backlogs
- Handle month/year-end close outs with GL maintenance and reconciliations
- Record journal entries while ensuring compliance with company policies and GAAP
- Perform reconciliations on financial statements such as balance sheets
- Analyze variance and provide explanations to management
- Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in line with company deadlines
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field required
- Proficiency with accounting softwares/ERP required
- Advanced Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, vlookups) required
